Accessibility & The Austin ArtWorks Festival

Austin Area Arts is committed to ensuring that all people have access to the annual Austin ArtWorks Festival. Although we have made strides in improving accessibility at the event, not all of the grounds are fully accessible. Some exhibiting artist tents are located on the Justice Center lawn. Improvements are in the works to add accessible pathways to the grassy areas during the festival. We appreciate your understanding as we work to make this a reality in the future!

Below is a map of accessible features at the festival, including accessible parking, restrooms, and curb ramp access.

We offer a sensory friendly relaxation station on the basement level of the Austin ArtWorks Center for anyone that needs a quiet space. See our accessibility page for more information on accessible entrance and elevator at the ArtWorks Center.

We will be offering ASL interpretation at festival events TBA.
