Plan your visit to the Austin ArtWorks Festival!

Austin Area Arts is committed to ensuring that all people have access to the annual Austin ArtWorks Festival. Although we have made strides in improving accessibility at the event, not all of the grounds are fully accessible. Some exhibiting artist tents are located on the Justice Center lawn. Improvements for 2026 are in the works to add accessible pathways to the grassy areas during the festival. We appreciate your understanding as we work to make this a reality for next year!

Below is a map of accessible features at the festival, including accessible parking, restrooms, and curb ramp access.

We offer a sensory friendly relaxation station on the basement level of the Austin ArtWorks Center for anyone that needs a quiet space.

We are offering ASL interpretation at 4 festival events this year:

Sat 11am-12pm (Authors Stage) — Panel Discussion: Kent Nerburn, Teresa Peterson, & Marcie Rendon
Sat 3:30-5pm (Music Stage) — Mae Simpson
Sun 11am-12:30pm (Authors Stage) — Panel Discussion: Britton Ashley, Kate Laack, Ellie Maureen, Alisa Ryan, Morgan Sauer, & Anna Worth
Sun 2:30-4pm (Music Stage) — Clay Fulton and the Lost Forty
