About Austin Area Arts

Austin Area Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates the Historic Paramount Theatre, the Austin ArtWorks Center, and the Austin ArtWorks Festival. Our mission is to applaud and advance all arts by welcoming diverse, creative individuals to share their unique talents to inspire our community.

Website Use

Our website is hosted on Squarespace and is provided for informational purposes, online purchases, class and event registration, membership enrollment, and donation processing. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Austin Area Arts offers online purchases including donations, memberships, class registrations, festival contributions, gift certificates, and other items through our Squarespace-powered store. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment processing is handled by Squarespace Commerce and its payment partners. By making a purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Refund Policy

For retail gallery items purchased at the ArtWorks Center: All sales are final. No refunds. For class registrations, memberships, donations, event tickets, and other purchases, please contact us at (507) 434-0934 or info@austinareaarts.org to discuss your specific situation. Refund availability may vary depending on the type of purchase and applicable circumstances.

Paramount Theatre Ticketing

Tickets for Paramount Theatre live events and movies may be purchased through our third-party ticketing vendor, VBO Tickets. Purchases made through VBO Tickets are subject to that vendor's terms and conditions. Austin Area Arts is not responsible for technical issues or disputes related to third-party ticketing platforms.

Classes and Programs

Austin Area Arts offers a variety of classes and programs for adults and children, including Kids Studio, art lessons, wheel throwing, open studio sessions, and ArtRocks Open Jams. Class schedules, availability, pricing, and instructors are subject to change. Austin Area Arts reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances. In the event of a cancellation by Austin Area Arts, registered participants will be offered a refund or credit.

Membership

Membership is available at various levels (Individual, Family, and Business). Membership benefits, pricing, and terms are as described on our website and are subject to change. Membership contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Members may be recognized in Austin Area Arts publications and newsletters unless they request otherwise.

Text Message (SMS) Terms

By opting in to Austin Area Arts text messages, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Austin Area Arts at the mobile phone number you provide. These messages may include information about upcoming events, performances, classes, promotions, fundraising, and organizational updates.
